The New Laptop Motherboard IC ISL6251AHAZ / ISL6251 / ISL6251AHAZT is a multi-chemistry battery charger controller IC designed for compatible laptop and notebook motherboard charging circuits. It uses a synchronous buck topology to provide efficient battery charging and power management.

The ISL6251A supports 2, 3 and 4-cell battery packs, with programmable charge-current, adapter-current and charge-voltage limits. It operates with an input voltage range of 7V to 25V and uses a fixed 300kHz PWM switching frequency.
