How to replace the battery

Note: If you are not comfortable replacing the battery yourself, you can take your laptop to the nearest trained technician.

Step 1 Power down your Laptop and unplug it from the AC adapter.

Step 2 Close the Laptop lid and turn it over.

Step 3 Locate the battery section on the bottom of the Laptop. It is usually secured by latches or screws.

Step 4 carefully remove the battery section cover.

Step 5 Disconnect the battery connector from the laptop motherboard.

Step 6 Remove the vintage battery from the compartment.
