How to replace the battery

Note: If you are not comfortable replacing the battery yourself, you can take your laptop to the nearest trained technician.

Step 1: Power down your laptop and unplug it from the AC adapter.

Step 2: Close the laptop lid and turn it over.

Step 3: Locate the battery section on the bottom of the laptop. It is usually secured by latches or screws.

Step 4: Carefully?remove the battery section cover.

Step 5: Disconnect the battery connector from the laptop motherboard.

Step 6: Remove the vintage battery from the compartment.

Step 7: Insert the new battery into the compartment, making sure the battery connector is aligned with the connector on the motherboard.

Step 8: Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.

Step 9: Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with a handle or screw.

Step 10: Turn your laptop over and open the lid.

Step 11: Plug in the AC adapter and power on your laptop.
